According to the latest Internet statistics, interest in “transsexual” topics rose more than 5,000 percent in the past five years, and interest in “transsexual dating” surged more than 400 percent. 
The surprising aspect to most newcomers as that only heterosexual men are attracted to transsexual women.
Lay persons misconstrue the huge difference between DRAG and female impersonation - a stalwart of gay male community - with transsexualism. Being gay is about sexual orientation. Being trans is about gender identity. 
What’s the difference between those two?
Simply stated: “sexual orientation” is who you want to go to bed with, “gender identity” is who you want to go to bed as. 
Sounds subtle to some but in reality? It's a monumental difference. Gay men are never attracted to trans-women! Even lots of gay male DRAG queens - who only want to go to bed as men - without their female stage garb - often struggle to find gay male partners. Lots of gay guys consider them to have “too much girl” going on for their tastes. Some such DRAG queens are now dating straight male partners and meeting them in the middle: keeping a more feminine presentation 24/7 in order to please their new straight male partners.
So what’s the problem with this huge increase in interest with transsexuals?
The growth was rooted in erotic photography & video - creating misconceptions about what transsexual women are really like & what they seek in a loving relationship. Too often, men & women get misguided notions from websites trying to sell erotic memberships – versus our true nature. Can you imagine if men only learned how to meet and love born-women by watching XXX porn?
My information was created to help bridge this gap. I created the first version of these tips in the 1990’s and vowed to one day publish this more expansive version.
There’s so little real-life info available for those seriously interested in meeting, dating - even marrying - a transgender lady.
I first began the monumental project of redrafting & expanding my old “Admirer’s Handbook” with the intention of publishing a book entitled “The Other Women: A Complete Guide to Meeting Loving & Understanding a Transgender Girlfriend”. However, I eventually decided to publish this work on-line for free. Realized - the people who most needed this information might be shy about having a book on the subject on their bookshelf.
